i shoulda known that even after spending a whole day searching for inspiration this old favourite would be the one to put me on track.

bring back borthwick
this man needs to hurry on back to the world of fashion photography. his images of the mundane, made beautiful with over saturated light spills and constant documentation of family, friends and models alike have restored my faith in photography. the snapshot aesthetic hasn't been this good since nan goldin
he's also a pretty mean chef (apparantely), maybe my dream of running a cafe combined with a photo studio aren't too far off
girl about town
i'm not gunna lie to you, these images are old news. but good old news. i took these of my friend a couple of years back in brick lane. she has the best bone structure i have ever known.
i miss just getting a train anywhere, abducting a friend and making a days shoot out of it. my photography has gone down the route of the commissioned and the contextualised and i'ma making a u turn as of now
cody bralts, i salute you
currently struggling for inspiration for a video piece i will be exhibiting in march i stumbled across this little gem. not that i want to completely emulate this style, but it's totally got me on my way to some sort of visual path.

pump my gas gurl
the beautiful best friend and i stumbled across a disused petrol station in the essex countryside. the occasion deserved a roll of 35mm at least. don't be fooled by the heat though, it was minus degrees so we totally deserve medals for actually leaving her house at all (/don't blame us for hibernating for the whole weekend before)
